Our Team
Clara Zander
Livestock, Grazing, and Land Management Specialist Clara has been working in sustainable agriculture for 17 years, with a focus on utilizing livestock to restore degraded landscapes. Clara believes that every farm system is unique and requires its own individual solutions, dependent on the land, its animals, it’s vegetation, and its stewards. She is fascinated with the practice of using Nature as a model to create closed-loop systems, develop resilient livestock production and ecological farming practices, and implement climate smart land stewardship.

Michael Curley
Michael grew up in an ancient village in Northern Greece where his family lived off-grid and farmed tobacco, kiwi, and livestock. Spending his formative years there, he learned the intricacies of ancient agricultural practices, and methods for living sustainably with the land. Having now spent much of his life in the US, Michael has worked intimately with plant and tree production, and has spent many years developing thriving off-grid, closed loop perennial systems in both Northern California and North Carolina. Michael enjoys being able to bring his varied skillset to aid others in creating long term sustainable systems for a multitude of situations and landscapes.

Trees For Graziers (TFG) exists to spread the profitable use of silvopasture far and wide by making it as easy as possible for farmers to establish productive trees in their pastures. We offer clients consulting to develop the right plan for their farms, help with accessing cost-share, grow silvopasture-specific stock through our nursery, plant trees and care for them after they have been planted.
Whichever livestock type you have, we can help determine which trees make the most sense, and how best to establish them for the quickest results. We can offer remote consulting and tree stock regardless of region, and can do plantings for operations close to southeastern Pennsylvania, or offer support for plantings further away.
